Crescent Public School houses the most congenial & a very decent hostel facility only For boys and girls separately from classes 6th onwards. It is nestled in a very serene atmosphere away from the hustle-bustle life of city. The hostel facility is within the school campus & it is an enclosed building situated in the lap of nature with great scenic beauty closed to the snow capped Dhauladhar range. Campus surroundings are well maintained with lush green gardens & is surrounded by concrete walls. The hostel meets the requirements of the present day students with special care for healthy environment & hygiene to ensure best possible grooming under the patronage of Principal & the allied staff. The hostel staff consists of experienced female hostel wardens ably assisted by matrons & attendants or ayahs. Their dedication & experience combined with compassion makes the hostel an ideal place for the students to live. Each hostel room is well laid, airy, spacious with beds & one almirah for each student.

- Mess :- Crescent Public School understands the importance of a secure & safe environment. All the entry & exit points are manned by well trained security guards. CCTVs are positioned at all entrances & exits, primarily to complement the non-invasive security system. No one can enter without proper authorization & prior permission from the Principal.
- Recreational facilities:- After school hours, students are encouraged to participate in recreational activities including hobby classes which provide a chance to the students to showcase their talents in dance, music, drama & in various aspects of stage management.

Ans. Yes, the school has hostel facility for both boys and girls within the campus, catering for different needs of our girl Students.
Q-2. What is the capacity of your
hostels for boys and girls?
Ans. The capacity for boys and girls is 50 each.Expansion for 400 students is in progress

Ans. We have accommodation with common bathrooms.

Ans. We have sharing capacity for twelve girls in per rooms.

Ans. Facilities include 24x7 security, 24x7 power back up, 24x7 internet connectivity, laundry, sports facilities, First Aid and medical facilities, Yoga and Meditation, Personal Development sessions, Hygienic Mess, Festival Celebrations, Picnics & Excursion, Cultural Events & preparatory classes morning and evening.

Ans. Four meals, which includes Breakfast ,Lunch , Evening Snacks and Dinner.

Ans. The menu is drawn in consultation with representatives of students and other experienced staff. Highest quality of food is maintained and strict hygiene standards are adhered to.

What type of basic infrastructure has been provided to the hostellers?
Ans. A basic bed with mattress, study table, chair and cupboard is assured to every boarder with Common facility as opted for.
Q-9. What is the system or process for hostellers to visit their home
town?
Ans. Every parent/ guardian is expected to register authorized signatures and mobile number at the time of joining the hostel. The parents / guardians are contacted for verification for any authorized movement of the hostellers. Confirmatory calls from Hostel Wardens are made to the guardian for authorizing movement of their wards. The Mobile Numbers of Hostel Wardens are displayed on the Notice Boards. Applications can be moved over e-mail and WhatsApp. Application directly received from hostellers are also shared with parents and confirmation sought.
Q-10. If some hosteller falls sick or gets injured, what actions are taken by the
administration ?
Ans. We have First Aid Medical Kit available in the hostel. We have arrangements with the PHC and a reputed Private Hospital adjoining to our school to provide free of cost consultation to the hostellers We have a 24*7 facility of vehicles arrangements to take the ailing patient to the hospital in the proximity of the School. Hostel Wardens accompany the injured and infirm in ambulance and medical attention delivered according to doctors. Separate Sick Room is maintained in the Hostel Premises. In case of any medical emergency there are renowned hospitals in approximately of the school and the name as mentioned below:-1. Govt. Primary Health Centre-100Mtr, Swami Vivekanad (multi speciality hospital)-1KM, Nirdosh Child Hospital-1.5KM, Paprola Medical College and Hospital-7KM, Dr. Rajinder Parshad Medical College and super speciality hospital Tanda-25KM the parents of the student are contacted immediately to come and take care of their wards.
Q-11. What about ragging?
Ans. Crescent Public School is in real sense a ragging free zone. The different committees have been formulated for this purpose. The School has zero tolerance policy strictly in compliance with Honourable Supreme Court /Govt. of India /CBSE/ State Govt. Regulations.
Q-12. What about the security of our students who are in the
hostel?
Ans. Security Guard: The entire campus is highly secured, so are the hostels. Nobody can enter the hostel without permission as we have deputed 24*7 professional security guards to avoid any untoward incidence. Electronic Surveillance: The entire campus is under the surveillance of CCTV cameras round the clock. Visit of Hostel: There are regular rounds of hostel warden in morning and evening sessions. The absentees are followed up and anyone found ill is taken to the hospital, if need be and special care is taken including his/ her meals. Night attendance: There is Night attendance of all hostellers, just before retiring to bed; we have a provision to take attendance of hostellers.

Ans. Mobile phone are not allowed in Hostel.

?
Ans. 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Q-15.What are the calling hrs. for parents in
hostel ?
Ans. Evening 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In every day and Morning 8:30 to 11:00 clock call Sunday & holidays. Parents are requested not to call more than once a week accept in special cases.
Q-16.Whether there is any provision of outing for hostel students ?
Ans. Yes, they go for an outing with their wardens, and conveyance is provided from the School (Self outing is not allowed).

Ans. Yes, we organize extra classes for weak students before the final examination. We also provide preparatory classes in the morning and evening in all working days throughout the year.

Ans. Yes, we do conduct English Communication and personality development classes.

for civil services available ?
Ans. No, we only organize coaching classes for various competitive examinations for the science and commerce students to crack the entrance for various top notch institutions like NDA/Medical Eng./Low/Business streams.

required for taking admission in hostel ?
Ans. Passport size photographs of candidate, parents and local guardian (if any), Photocopy of Aadhar Card, Passport (if available), Medical Certificate and previous qualifications (depending on admission in school).
